South Brunswick Announces Spring Brush Recycling Collection Program
The program is for residents only and brush from paid contractors will not be collected.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – Spring is here, and residents will begin yardwork soon.
The Township announced it will pick-up all spring brush on May 1. All brush must be at the curb and not in the street, by 6:30 a.m. to receive collection.
Each street will get one pick up. Material that placed on the curbside after that May 1 will not be collected.

Officials said that although pick up will begin May 1, it may take a few weeks to complete.

Acceptable materials include brush, branches, shrubs, and bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter. The material must be securely tied in bundles and should weigh less than 50 pounds.
Twigs and small branches that are less than 4 feet may be placed in a container
Brush should not be put in the road. Also, full trees that have been cut will not be collected.
The collection program will not include bags, leaves, weeds, stumps, litter or garbage.
