South Brunswick Is Collecting Unused, Expired Medications Saturday

The medication disposal event will be held Saturday from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.., at the South Brunswick Police Department

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — If you have unused and expired prescription medication in your cabinet, you have the chance to dispose of them this weekend.

The South Brunswick Police Department is hosting Operation Take Back Day, an event during which residents may safely dispose of unused or expired medications.

Medication should be taken out of the original container and placed into plastic bags before bringing them for disposal.

Plastic containers or boxes that contained the medications will not be accepted. Liquid medications will be accepted in their original containers. Ensure that the cap is tightly sealed to prevent leakage. Syringes and other sharp instruments will not be accepted.

The drop-off location is the South Brunswick Police Department, from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
