SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick will be hosting its first in-person Council meeting in three years on April 11, Township Manager Bryan Bidlack announced.

The announcement was first made in mid-March, but the date was confirmed during the March 28 meeting.

The township pivoted to remote meetings in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many New Jersey municipalities switched back to in-person meetings last year, South Brunswick remained among the few to host meetings remotely.

The township will offer a hybrid meeting format - those who can't attend personally can participate remotely. This will also ensure that the township maintains its public participation.

It's not confirmed if the hybrid format will be up and running by April 11. Meanwhile, the meetings will be telecast on local channels.

The meetings will be held at the Council chambers.
