South Brunswick Hit By Rash Of January Car Burglaries
Since January 5, South Brunswick police have received 12 reports of vehicles that were entered overnight. All had been left unlocked.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick has been hit by a rash of car burglaries since the beginning of January, and police are reminding residents to always lock their car doors.
Since January 5, South Brunswick police have received 12 reports of vehicles that were entered overnight, and had items stolen from them.
The burglaries occurred at various points around town. "It appears that most, if not all, of the vehicles were left unlocked," said police.

- Lock your car doors
- Take your key fob with you; do not leave it in your vehicle
- Do not leave valuables in your vehicle
- If possible, park in a well-lit area
