“On behalf of the Township of South Brunswick, please allow me to convey our gratitude for recognition by the Quality Institute as a 2022 Healthy Town to Watch,” Mayor Charlie Carley said.

“We recognize that health is more than a visit to the doctor. Working with our community partners in the educational, recreational and health care professions, South Brunswick will continue to provide programs and events for all our residents so we can improve health outcomes in our town.”
Seventeen towns were designated as 2022 “Healthy Town to Watch,” 14 were “Healthy Town” winners, and seven were designated as 2022 “Healthy Town Up-and-Coming.”
The Mayors Wellness Campaign is a program of the Quality Institute in partnership with the New Jersey State League of Municipalities.
Each year, communities participating in the MWC complete a comprehensive Healthy Town application outlining their research to identify their community health needs and explaining how they have organized their local MWC committee.
The application also highlights the towns' actions to make their communities healthier places to live, work, and play.
