SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Department is planning to host a Citizen Police Academy in spring, Chief Raymond Hayducka said.
The class would begin in early March and end in mid-May. Attendees will meet once a week from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. to learn about and discuss police practices like car stops, use of force, utilization of body-worn cameras, first aid, identity theft and more.
They will also participate in a practical exercise during week 10 where they will experience what it feels like to be a South Brunswick Police Officer.
