South Brunswick Records No COVID Cases For 6 days
With the number of cases declining, the Office of Emergency Management will limit the release of COVID-19 report to twice a month.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — For the first time since the pandemic began, South Brunswick recorded its lowest weekly COVID-19 number.
From May 16 to May 22, South Brunswick reported 13 new cases with no COVID-19 related deaths.
Between May 23 to May 29 the township reached another landmark - only two new cases and for six days during this week, no new cases were reported.

The Office of Emergency Management said a large percent of the township’s population is fully vaccinated, and more are receiving their shots every day.
"As a community, we are able to become involved in more activities, with more people, as things feel more “normal” than they have in the past 15 months,” said the OEM.

“This is all possible due to the diligent efforts of our community members, who have isolated, quarantined, masked, washed, vaccinated, and sacrificed over the past 15 months.”
Going forward the South Brunswick Township Office of Emergency Management will release the COVID-19 report twice a month, instead of every week.
