Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Because she is a beautiful human being who goes way above and beyond for her students, family and the school district in general. She was a fierce advocate for universal preschool and even did a press conference from her school with Governor Murphy. She has fought hard for the district in regard to unfair and troubling budget cuts. My son, who is on the spectrum and was completely non-verbal when he started class with Mrs. Kline, wouldn’t be where he is today if it hadn’t been for her. He is now in 3rd grade and can speak in full sentences, he can better regulate his emotions and is able to communicate them as well. I wholeheartedly believe that Mrs. Kline played an essential part in my son’s journey and I don’t know where he’d be right now if she hadn’t been his teacher.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Just how special she truly is
