Three Accidents in Snowstorm in South Brunswick Saturday
Despite the intensity of Saturday's snowstorm, South Brunswick police reported only "a handful" of accidents on Township roadways.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Despite the intensity of Saturday's snowstorm, South Brunswick police reported only "a handful" of accidents on Township roadways Saturday. That's mostly because traffic was lighter due to it being a weekend, police said.
In a Nixle alert, police said there were three accidents due to the storm on Saturday. There were no major injuries in any of the accidents. There was no official snow tally from the National Weather Service for South Brunswick, but Manalapan Township got 7.5 inches of snow, East Brunswick got 6.5 inches, Cranbury got 5.4 inches and Princeton got 5 inches. Cumberland County in South Jersey got the most snow in the state, with some towns reporting 10 inches. Read more snow totals across the state here: New Jersey Snow Totals, Town-By-Town FINAL - 1/7/17
