Join Main Street Highland Park on Sunday, September 20, from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM for the 20th annual Arts in the Park Street Fair &amp; Arts Festival!
Celebrate local art and community in Highland Park! This downtown street fair features a juried art show, local artists and makers, artisan vendors, shopping, live music and entertainment, food from local restaurants, children's activities, community organizations, and more. The festival attracts thousands of visitors from across the region for a day of local art, shopping, food, and live entertainment in downtown Highland Park.
Artists, crafters, food vendors, community organizations, and other businesses are invited to register to participate. Student artists are welcome. Juried artists will display and sell their work under tents along Raritan Avenue.

CareSparc Community Connections will mark the 12th Annual Sustainable Health &amp; Wellness Village (SHWV) Festival&nbsp;on September 26th at Branch Brook Park at the Prudential Concert Grove, bringing free health and wellness resources, preventive screenings, fresh produce, family activities, live entertainment and community services directly to New Jersey residents.&nbsp;&nbsp;Festival-goers will receive free and accessible services and resources, health screenings, vision screenings and prescription eyeglasses, fresh produce, health education, wellness information and connections to community-based programs and services. Come experience House Meets Health with DJ&nbsp;Antoine Que, DJ&nbsp;Moneta-Kai Price and live music featuring Valerie Adams &amp; The Dimension Band.

<h2>WHAT</h2>
The Sustainable Health &amp; Wellness Village Festival is a community-centered health and wellness experience designed to connect residents with resources that support healthier families and stronger communities.
Festival activities and services will include:
·Free health screenings
·Free vision screenings and prescription eyeglasses
·Fresh produce distribution
·Panel discussions and community conversations on health equity
·Family, Senior &amp; Veteran’s Resources
·Mental health and wellness resources
·Free Haircuts
·Access to health insurance
·Health education and preventive care information
·Family and children’s activities
·Food Trucks
·Live entertainment and community activities
·Giveaways &amp; Prizes
The festivals will highlight issues affecting New Jersey communities, including mental health, maternal and family health, food insecurity and nutrition, healthcare provider shortages, preventive care and health equity.
<h2>WHY</h2>
The Sustainable Health &amp; Wellness Village model recognizes that improving community health extends beyond hospitals and doctors’ offices. Families also need convenient access to nutritious food, preventive services, reliable health information and culturally responsive resources in the communities where they live, work and raise their children.
Since its inception, the SHWV initiative has served more than 43,000 residents across New Jersey, connecting individuals and families with health, wellness and social resources. The Sustainable Health and Wellness Village model was informed by the CDC’s Social Determinants of Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Culture of Health Action Framework.

Johnson &amp; Johnson is this year’s presenting sponsor, with Daiichi Sankyo, UnitedHealthcare and Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey joining as statewide sponsors. CareSparc Community Connections is also partnering with the City of Newark, the Essex County Board of Commissioners, Saint Michael's Medical Center, University Hospital, Rutgers Health - New Jersey Medical School, Rutgers School of Nursing, Montclair State University, and the Newark Teacher's Union to broaden the festival’s reach and connect residents with critical health and community resources.

The Bailey Basketball Academy(BBA)&nbsp;announced&nbsp;today the&nbsp;fall&nbsp;schedule for&nbsp;upcoming&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoops program.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;is considered the premiere&nbsp;player development basketball program in Central Jersey and is led by&nbsp;former PDS Girl's coach and Philadelphia 76'er International Camps&nbsp;Clinician, Kamau Bailey. Coach Bailey, a former NYU graduate and player, was&nbsp;a Colorado High School All State and McDonald's All American and is a&nbsp;quality coach and teacher of the game. He is sought after as a speaker and&nbsp;hoop instructor. The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;program will offer parents and players the opportunity&nbsp;for&nbsp;competitive boys travel teams(3rd-10th grade), weekly practices, Shot King Shooting Instruction, player development skill sessions for kindergarten through high school players(boys &amp; girls). The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;programs stress fundamentals and team play with emphasis on ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, speed, agility, movement with and without the ball, one on one moves, defense and various other basketball-related skills.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Fall&nbsp;Skill Development&nbsp;Sessions for boys and girls are held every Monday and Wednesday&nbsp;and begins Monday, September 17th and Wednesday, September 9th&nbsp;with&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00pm to 7:15pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15pm to 8:30pm thru mid - November. In addition, BBA will offer&nbsp;First Hoops Skill Development Sessions for boys and girls, grades K-2 on Friday evenings between 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
 The&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;Competitive Boys Program&nbsp;for interested&nbsp;players and parents begins practice&nbsp; on&nbsp;Tuesday, September 8th and Thursday, September 10th for&nbsp;Grades 3-6: 6:00 to 7:15 pm and Grades 7-10: 7:15 to 8:30 pm) thru mid - November.&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;teams will play games on weekends in the Multi Sports&nbsp;Kingdom Mid-Jersey Basketball&nbsp;League.&nbsp;
 All&nbsp;BBA&nbsp;hoop activities will be held at the Princeton Middle School, 217 Walnut Lane or at the BBA practice court,&nbsp;3752 Highway #27.
