Watson Coleman Delivers $405K To South Brunswick Library At Carnival
The "construction carnival" celebrated the upcoming project, which will include many updates to the library building.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Public Library hosted a "Construction Carnival" for township families on Saturday.
The event celebrated the library's upcoming construction project and acknowledged local leaders and legislators for their support.
Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, Sen. Andrew Zwicker, Mayor Charles Carley and local officials were present for the celebration.

Watson Coleman, who serves on the House Appropriations Committee, secured $405,000 for the library as part of the fiscal year 2022 federal funding bill.
“As the only Appropriations Committee member from New Jersey, I’m committed to bringing my constituents’ federal tax dollars right back home,” Watson Coleman said.

“Libraries are gateways to education, history and truth. Every community deserves a place to gather, share knowledge, and gain cultural awareness. Thanks to this renovation, South Brunswick residents will have the opportunity to enjoy everything their local library has to offer for generations to come.”
The project will include a 128-seat state-of-the-art auditorium with a stage, new meeting room, additional parking, HVAC improvements and repurposing of interior space.
