Woman Dead, Man Critically Injured In South Brunswick Crash
A North Brunswick woman was killed and a South Brunswick man critically injured in a crash Thursday evening.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — One person was killed and another critically injured after a crash in South Brunswick Thursday evening, police said.
Deborah Apgar, 70, of North Brunswick was killed and a 67-year-old unidentified South Brunswick man critically injured when their cars collided at the intersection of Route 130 and Deans Rhode Hall Road, said police.
According to the police, the South Brunswick man was driving a 2017 Toyota Rav4 southbound on Route 130. Apgar, driving a 2014 Subaru Legacy on Route 130 north, was attempting to make a left onto Deans Rhode Hall Road.

Police said the South Brunswick man had a green light for southbound traffic on Route 130, when Apgar entered the intersection, resulting in the collision.
Police said North Brunswick EMS and Monmouth Junction First Aid Squad took both drivers to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Apgar died at the hospital and the South Brunswick man is in critical condition, police said.
