2020 Band OpenCall Downtown After Sundown Live Music South Orange

BAND OPEN CALL- It's almost that time of the year when the sun shines bright in downtown South Orange and the moonlight shines even brighter after the sun goes down. It’s a time when the farmers bring their produce to market and it so beautiful outdoors that we can listen to music playing nonstop for 24 hours. And yes South Orange has a new Interactive ‘Music Walk which will come alive this summer.

Yup that means it's time to prepare for another spectacular season of the South Orange Village Center Alliance's “Downtown After Sundown” Live Music Concert Season in beautiful, delightful, historic Downtown South Orange, NJ. Live music will be the Sounds in Spiotta Park and the Jazz On Sloan at the South Orange Gazebo will be swinging hard.

This year’s free annual live concert season will start from Memorial Day weekend May 22nd to Labor Day weekend with a final performance Sept 5th. Performances are every Friday and Saturday evening from 7:00 -10:00 PM along with a number of special Sunday Events from 6 - 9 PM.

Please Note Before You Submit:

- We do not supply a back line, sound monitors or any equipment, etc.

- We supply power and you bring what you need to perform in one of our outdoor locations.

- We have limited spots and many more bands apply then available slots so apply early as slots go fast.

Open Call for 2020 Downtown After Sundown Season Bands starts today and end this year on March 1st. Selected Bands will be notified by March 5th. Bands not selected will go on the cancellation wait list.
