3 Men Rob Victim In South Orange, Flee In SUV: Police
A trio of men allegedly assaulted and robbed a pedestrian in South Orange, punching the victim and knocking him to the ground, police said.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A trio of men allegedly assaulted and robbed a pedestrian in South Orange earlier this month, punching the victim and knocking him to the ground, authorities said.
According to the South Orange Police Department, the robbery took place around 12:30 a.m. on June 3 as the victim, a resident of Alpha, was walking on South Orange Avenue near Scotland Road. The victim told officers that the men stole his cell phone and wallet, then fled the scene in a white SUV.
The victim described his attackers as black males, all between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 9 inches and in their early 20s. One of the alleged attackers had short, dreadlock-style hair, police said.
