A B.I.G. Event for Maplewood and South Orange

Caroline Gosselin and Yasmeen Anderson are starting a new South Orange-Maplewood venture and it's BIG.

Literally, it's B.I.G. as in "Believe, Inspire, Grow."

SOMA B.I.G. is a new local chapter of a national women's business networking group. Said Gosselin, "Our goal will be to organize monthly meetings to bring local entrepreneurial women together to brainstorm new ideas, share stories, visions and challenges. We will also have speakers on a regular basis."

Added Gosselin, "It started off in someone's livingroom in Bernardsville, NJ and is now spreading like wildfire to the tri-state area and beyond!"

The SOMA B.I.G. chapter launches on WEDNESDAY, June 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the Ethical Culture Society at 516 Prospect Street in Maplewood.

The first meeting is free.

Attendees will meet Tara Gilvar, the Founder of B.I.G. and learn about how this group is helping women grow their businesses through supporting one another.  

"Learn about how we're going to structure the meetings to allow for important education, broad networking, and intimate brainstorming," said Gosselin, "and what's going to make us different and frankly better than other networking organizations."
