Arts Unbound collaborates with JCC for exhibit at Gaelen Gallery
Arts Unbound gallery exhibits fine art and craft made by students, emerging artists and established artists living with disabilities.

Arts Unbound, the gallery and studio dedicated to artists with disabilities and special needs, is collaborating with The JCC Metro West to display the artwork of Arts Unbound gallery artists. “Portfolio: Works from the artists of Arts Unbound,” will be on view at the Gaelen Gallery East at the JCC Ross Family Campus beginning with a public reception on Sunday, January 11th from 11am to 1pm. Join us for a family-friendly event, enjoy refreshments and get acquainted with Arts Unbound!

On exhibit will be charcoal drawings by David Wiley of Somerville, small oil pastels by NJ DeVico of Titusville, acrylic paintings by Amy Charmatz of Springfield, photographs by David Joseph of Clifton, watercolor paintings by Gregory Smith of Livingston, brush paintings by Jason Towns, designs by Avary Waldron of West Orange, sculptures by Stanley Winarsky of South Orange and more. Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be open during regular JCC operating hours through February 22, 2015.
Those looking for a hands-on experience can drop into the gallery on Saturday afternoons for our Saturday Family Workshops, where everybody leaves with a handmade piece of art. Workshops are free and open to all ages, with a $5 suggested donation to cover supplies and teaching costs.

Arts Unbound is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the artistic achievement of youth, adults and senior citizens with disabilities. Through professional classes in the visual arts and exhibitions in the Arts Unbound gallery and throughout NJ, the organization is committed to providing skill development and income opportunities for emerging and established artists with special needs. The gallery is located in the Valley Arts District at 544 Freeman Street, in Orange.
