Assault on South Orange Ave. on Saturday Night
A JESPY House resident was struck on the head on Saturday around 10 p.m.
An adult male JESPY House resident was struck on the side of the head on Saturday at around 10 p.m. by the flagpole at the intersection of South Orange and Irvington avenues, according to Police Chief James Chelel.
His assailant was part of a larger group, but the victim was unable to identify him. He was taken to St. Barnabas for treatment and then released.
