BLUES People is a dynamic blues group hailing from the NYC/North Jersey area. Formed during the pandemic, the band members have collectively spent over 30 years as working musicians, producers, and recording artists. Their debut album, THe skin i’m in, was released in 20241.

The band features talented musicians such as Kelton Cooper, Mike Griot, Ron Thompson, and Gene Lake. They’ve made waves with their incredible live shows and were crowned winners of the 2023 North Jersey Blues Society International Blues Challenge. Additionally, they reached the semifinals at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis!
