Board of Education Candidate Night Wednesday, October 21st, hosted by League of Women Voters, SOMSD PTA Presidents' Council

Still deciding? Have questions for the candidates? Or just want to be a well-informed voter? Candidate Night will help you gain a better understanding of the people running for the South Orange/Maplewood Board of Education and where they stand on issues that impact our students, teachers, schools, and community.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 21 from 7:30-9:00 pm at the Maplewood Middle School auditorium. The event format will give candidates an opportunity to highlight differences, answer the tough questions, and discuss how they feel about actual votes taken by the Board. Attendees will also be able to submit their own questions for the candidates. Proudly sponsored by the League of Women Voters and the Presidents’ Council of the South Orange/Maplewood School District PTA.

The forum will also be rebroadcast on SOMAtv, channels 19 (Cablevision) and 44 (FiOS).
