Brain Injury Basics Workshop at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation on October 21

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey will hold a Brain Injury Basics Workshop at the Kessler Institute on 10/21 from 6-8PM

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey (BIANJ) is holding a free educational session entitled Brain Injury Basics on Wednesday, October 21 from 6-8 pm at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, 1199 Pleasant Valley Way - Main Conference Room, West Orange, NJ 07052.

Brain Injury Basics provides an overview and information on:
• Brain injury, including definitions and the rate of incidence
• Effects of brain injury on families, including the stages of grief family members experience
• Cognitive, physical, and emotional consequences of brain injury
• Strategies, tips, and available resources families and caregivers can utilize
