Burglar Swipes $100 From South Orange Community Pool: Cops

Someone broke into the snack bar at the community pool in South Orange and stole about $100 in cash, authorities said.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Someone broke into the snack bar at the community pool in South Orange and stole about $100 in cash earlier this month, authorities said.

According to the South Orange Police Department, municipal employees said that the burglary took place between 11 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 5 and 11:50 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6. During that time, an unknown person allegedly gained access to the snack bar at the pool, broke into the cash register and stole about $100.

South Orange police are investigating the incident, authorities said.
