Candidates Campaign in South Orange

This weekend, Board of Education candidates and their supporters were in the Village talking to voters and handing out campaign information. Tomorrow, April 17 is Election Day - don't forget to vote!

All six candidates were campaigning in South Orange on Saturday. Patch caught up with Wayne Eastman in front of Dunkin' Donuts, as he chatted with Anthony Greene of the Community Coalition on Race.

The Pai/Eastman/Bennett slate had a table set up on Sloan Street; former Board President Mark Gleason, who supports that ticket, was there.

Right next to them, volunteer Martha Raimon manned the table for the Payne-Parrish/Swanson and Higer tickets. The three candidates were in the Village earlier that day.
