Car Overturns at Prospect and Parker

A woman who overturned her car on Prospect Street near Parker Avenue this afternoon appears to have sustained no major injuries.

Police reported "no entrapment" and witnesses at the scene said they saw the woman standing after leaving the vehicle, which briefly rested on its side before being righted by tow truck personnel. Police said that the woman was being evaluated by emergency medical personnel on scene.

The accident happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. It is unclear how the woman turned her vehicle on its side. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. The roadway appeared dry at the time of the accident, though it was raining again by 2:45 p.m. as the car was loaded onto a tow truck.
