Car Thief, Burglar Caught: South Orange Police

Justine Hines stole three cars, police said.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A 19-year-old East Orange man was arrested and charged with auto theft and burglary on Feb. 21, according to the South Orange Police Department.

According to authorities, Justin Hines was charged with two counts of Burglary and three counts of Auto Theft which stem from two incidents on Turrell Avenue and Tillou Road.

Hines was arrested in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY in possession of one of the stolen vehicles from South Orange, police said.

Hines confessed to South Orange Detectives that he entered two homes in South Orange, stealing the car keys and then stealing the victims vehicles from their driveways, police said. Hines is currently incarcerated in New York awaiting extradition.
