The Complicated Journey of Nostra Aetate
The Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies is pleased to host the 22nd Msgr. John M. Oesterreicher Memorial Lecture at Seton Hall University.
In celebration of the Fiftieth Anniversary of Vatican Council II, the Institute of Judaeo-Christian Studies is hosting the Twenty-Second Monsignor John M. Oesterreicher Memorial Lecture at Seton Hall University with special keynote speaker, John Borelli, Ph.D.
All are invited to attend Dr. Borelli’s lecture, “The Complicated Journey of Nostra Aetate,” the Declaration of the Church’s Relation to Non-Christian Religions. Dr. Borelli has been Special Assistant for Interreligious Initiatives for the President of Georgetown University since 2004 and served as Associate Director of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs for more than 16 years, focusing on ecumenical dialogue with Orthodox Christians and with Anglicans and interreligious dialogue and relations with Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus and interfaith groups.
