Cops Break Up Big Crowd Of Disorderly Teens In Essex County (VIDEO)
Police from Maplewood, South Orange, Millburn, Springfield, Union and Irvington were called in to break up the crowd, reports say.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Police from several Essex County agencies broke up a large crowd of teens and young adults after fights and “disorderly behavior” were reported in a Maplewood park on Sunday night, reports say.
Police from Maplewood, Union, Irvington, Millburn, Springfield and South Orange – as well as the Essex County Sheriff’s Office – were called to the scene after a crowd of 150 to 200 juveniles and young adults left Maplewood's annual May Festival and started to gather in DeHart Park around 5 p.m., authorities stated.
Officers broke up multiple fights at the scene, Maplewoodian.com reported.

There were no serious injuries reported and only one arrest, a 19-year-old Newark man on a theft-related charge, police told NJ.com.

Sunday’s incident comes less than a month after two Essex County teens were arrested and another pair were injured during a huge, rowdy, late-night brouhaha in downtown South Orange that drew as many as 400 youths to the scene, authorities estimated.
