Crane's Brings Back Dinners-to-Go

Popular take-out dinner menu is up and running at Crane's at Highland Place.

When Steve Crane first introduced dinners-to-go at the old , it was a rousing success.

"We were selling around 30-35 dinners each night," said Crane. Eventually, though, the logistics made it challenging and the dinners came to an end, much to the dismay of many regulars who had come to depend on the Ropa Vieja, the meatloaf and more.

But now that  -- meaning a larger kitchen space and later hours -- dinners-to-go are back.  "Our customers kept asking us for them," Crane said.

Look for the menu to expand in the future.  "We have gotten some special requests," said Crane.
