Come early and catch this special set that will be introduced by NJPAC AVP THE Rev Eyesha Marable founder of Jazz and Jesus Services in Milburn NJ.
Dermel Warren
Born and raised in Memphis, TN, she grew up singing in her mother’s church, Miracle Temple Ministries, Inc. At church, she received her vocal training from Kelley Muller-Smith. She has performed background and lead vocals for Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, Karen Clark- Sheard, Yolanda Adams, Ernest Pugh, jazz drummer Winard Harper (Betty Carter, Harper Brothers), and many more. Dermel has toured with Blues artists, Sergio Davis and the late Mel Waiters (“Hole in the Wall Man”). She also opened up for Jill Scott, Anthony Hamilton, & Mint Condition as a solo artist within the Budweiser Summer Fest Tour in 2011. She is currently based out of New York/New Jersey, collaborating with many producers on their projects, and working on her debut EP.

Co-leads the jazz band, JD Warren & the Rudiment with husband, drummer, and composer Jeremy Warren. Dermel specializes in song-writing, live performance, studio performance, private instruction, workshops, and clinics.

Eyesha K. Marable is trained dancer, ordained Itinerate Elder, Pastor, Mt. Zion AME Church, Millburn, NJ and Coordinator of Dance for the 1st Episcopal District, under the leadership of Bishop Gregory Ingram. Rev. Eye earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism and Spanish, a Master of Science Degree in Non-Profit Management, a Post-Graduate Certification in Organizational Development and a Master of Divinity. Through her 14 years of service at the Greater Allen Cathedral of New York under the leadership of Rev. Drs. Floyd H. and Elaine M. Flake as associate minister, asst. dance director for Allen Liturgical Dance Ministry and co-chair for the bi-annual worship conference, Rev. Eyesha founded the National Liturgical Dance Network (NLDN). This dance preacher gathers, trains, supports and unites with churches and worshippers, worldwide. She is the Director of Community Engagement for NJPAC and is blessed to worship in dance with her husband, Edward B. Marable, Jr, son, Judah and Honor.
