Earth Day Celebrations in Orange, NJ

ValleyArts and Lycored celebrated Earth Day with a mural unveiling created by local artist Sterling Brown. The event started with a performance from local group, Marafanyi, followed by a speech from the Honorable Dwayne Warren, Mayor, City of Orange Township who discussed the latest programs to help rejuvenate Orange.

Also in attendance was Richard T. Bryant, Executive Director, ValleyArts and members of the Lycored team who were the sponsors of the event (Lycored is one of the largest employers in Orange).

At the event, Zev Ziegler, VP of Marketing at Lycored, discussed the commitment Lycored has to the community of Orange and their health. “We are nourishing our community one seed at a time and now with this mural one tomato at a time,” said Ziegler.

ABOUT LYCORED:
The LycoRed story begins in 1995 with a tomato and the hero carotenoid, lycopene. Over the years, this potent nutrient has been linked to everything from improved skin elasticity to prostate health. It fosters wellness in a way that many other chemical compounds can’t and it does it all naturally. The problem? Humans can’t produce lycopene (or any carotenoids for that matter) on their own. As a true innovator, LycoRed knew there had to be a better way to package this precious gift and give it to the world. Years of trial and error eventually lead to the creation of Lyc-O-Mato®, LycoRed’s proprietary tomato extract filled with antioxidants and carotenoids. Although we owe a great debt to the humble tomato, we quickly realized that wasn’t the only fruit on the vine filled with natural nutrition. Today we source carotenoids and other brilliant vitamins and minerals from marigolds, fragrant rosemary, palm fruits, curcumin, and more. For more information, please visit www.lycored.com.
