East Orange Man Fatally Shot In Newark
Police seek information in the shooting of 20-year-old Brent Williams, who was found unresponsive in a car on Sunday night.
Authorities are investigating a shooting in Newark claimed the life of an East Orange man on Sunday night.
According to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Newark police found 20-year-old Brent Williams unresponsive in a car at Huntington Terrace and Lehigh Avenue at 10:49 p.m.
In addition to Williams, police also found and treated another 20-year-old male for a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Police are not releasing the identity of the second victim at this time.
The investigation is active and ongoing. No motive has been determined and no suspect has been identified.
