Eden Gourmet in Contract for Voro's Liquor License

Upstairs at Eden is slated to open in the first half of June, once the liquor license is secured.

Eden Gourmet is in contract for the liquor license last used by Voro, which closed last month, according to the market's co-owner Mario Andreani.

Possessing the license means Eden will be able to serve drinks in its upcoming second-floor restaurant, Upstairs at Eden, slated to open between June 1 and June 15, as well as the Cafe at Eden Gourmet, the outdoor patio overlooking the train platform, and a third-floor private banquet hall.

The restaurant won't open before the license is secured, Andreani said, but its chef—Paul Lustbaden, formerly of Cent'Anni in Maplewood—has been hired.
