Enterprise Corporation Donation to Career Center and Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute Further Cements Commitment to Seton Hall University
Enterprise Corporation continues its relationship with Seton Hall University with a donation
Enterprise Corporation is continuing its relationship with Seton Hall University with a donation to the Career Center and the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute for a second straight year. The company generously donated $7,500, in addition to the previous year’s contribution of $4,700.
“Stand out, be ambitious, and remember that the job market is competitive. You’ll need to show a prospective employer that you can provide value to them,” said Christopher Fitzpatrick, Talent Acquisition Manager at Enterprise Corporation
Enterprise’s contribution to the University isn’t just limited to donations. It also includes time and resources. “Enterprise takes part in many Seton Hall Career Fairs, conducts interviews on campus for both full-time and internship positions at least once each semester, and provides a variety of seminars on transferable skills, resume writing and interviewing as well as, overcoming the stereotypes of sales careers,” Fitzpatrick said. The relationship has certainly paid off, over 100 students have been awarded internships or jobs, including 38 full time positions.

The company’s most recent endeavor involves cooperation with the Latino Institute, which is now in its second year. The relationship allows Enterprise to “provide opportunity and networking for Hispanic and Latino students, and advance Enterprise’s dedication to diversity in the workplace and the community,” Fitzpatrick stated.
Denisse Oller, Executive Director of the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute, expressed her gratitude for Enterprise’s donation and continued contribution. “Enterprise has generously sponsored our events and supported our Exito Mentoring Program. We are very grateful to Enterprise for everything they do to help us provide students with new and different opportunities to grow,” Oller said.

Fitzpatrick will conduct a lecture on Social Media and Personal Branding on March 19th, from 6p.m-8p.m in Jubilee Hall 117, hosted by the Institute and open to Exito Mentees, SHU students and open to the public. Earlier this month, he spoke at another seminar: Tips from the Field: What Recruiters Look for on LinkedIn.
Reesa Greenwald, director of the Career Center explains, “I think the relationship is a win-win. The student gets access to experience and managerial development and we benefit from Chris’s presence at the University and his commitment to our students.”
Fitzpatrick encourages students from multiple fields of study to apply for Enterprise internships, believing that students should never be defined by their degree. He has told students, “The only constant in business is change, and being able and willing to be flexible and open-minded may open doors that students with blinders on may miss.”
