Essex Funk Collective is a nine piece disco, soul, R&B and funk brigade hailing from Essex County NJ. The band comes armed with 5 singers including the fabulous mother/daughter combo of Faith and Kiyomi Taylor, the amazing vocal talents of Kenny Vaughan and Nigel Finley and their rapper Norman "Skippy" Burns who gets the crowd excited. Guitarist Jonathan Glasser, keyboardist Lawrence Allen, bassist Brian Swisher and drummer Steven Feldman drive the music with discipline and passion.
