Baird Preschool is now accepting registration from Maplewood residents

Baird Preschool, formally for South Orange residents only, will now accept registration from Maplweood residents.  The school is a state licensed learning center for ages 2 ½ through 4 ½, featuring a full pre-K curriculum. The program combines educational and recreational activities to provide your child with a balanced preschool experience. Dru Barkalow, Director and Head Teacher at Baird Preschool for the past 12 years, holds teaching certificates from the New Jersey Department of Education for both K-8 and P-3 (Early Childhood Education endorsement). Additional enrichment classes – Art, Music and Creative Movement are included for 3 and 4 year olds. The Baird Preschool is held on the second floor of The Baird, 5 Mead Street, in an area dedicated to and outfitted for the needs of preschoolers.
