Maplewood resident and cartoonist Rick Parker will be signing copies of his latest book, The Hunger Pains, a graphic novel parody at WORDS Books in Maplewood on Friday June 1, 2012. The book was written by Stefan Petrucha and edited by Jim Salicrup of Papercutz in NYC. Mr. Parker teaches cartooning at Geralyn's Art Studio in NYC and has given lectures on art at many local schools and institutions.
