Classes For Job Seekers at The South Orange Library

Are you interested in searching for jobs online but don’t know where to start?

Do you need help with your resume and cover letter?  We are offering computer classes especially for job seekers. Instructors from the Corporate and Business Training Center of Essex County College will teach you how to navigate the Internet and do web-based job searches.  They will help you develop your resume and cover letter using Microsoft Word.  And you’ll learn how to email them to prospective employers.

Each class is offered in two 2-hour sessions, so it is recommended that you register for both.  All classes will meet in the library meeting room at 6:30 pm.    The schedule is as follows:  Internet – June 14 and June 28, Microsoft Word - July 5 and 19, and Email Basics – August 2 and 16.  Registration is limited, so please sign up as soon as possible for any or all of the courses.
