We will walk mostly on old woods roads that take steep switchbacks up to Washington Rock. This is the steepest trail in South Mt. Reservation. An aerobic workout taken at a moderate pace, this is another way of getting to the most popular destination in the park. After the Rock, there is little elevation gain.
Meet at Locust Grove, up a short driveway opposite the Millburn RR station and First Aid Squad on Glen Ave.
No need to register; just come to the meeting point a little before the starting time. Steady rain automatically cancels a walk, intermittent showers do not.
