JC's Closet Grand Opening Event

JC’s Closet, a locally owned boutique for tweens, invites you to its grand opening Saturday, Oct. 1, from 11 until 5.

The store, at 19 Scotland Road, South Orange, picks up where chain stores leave off. For the 7-to-14-year-olds who want more than the jeans and T-shirts everyone else is wearing, JC’s Closet offers fun clothes and accessories. While kids shop, moms can find the perfect evening bag and jewelry for great prices.

Look for our Style Squad, tweens wearing JC’s Closet gear, in downtown Maplewood, Millburn, Livingston and South Orange. On Saturday afternoon they will distribute Fashion Passes for great savings during the Grand Opening. Head over to the store for hourly raffles and giveaways, beginning at noon.

Kids whose parents make any purchase are invited to tag a large canvas, and the graffiti art will be displayed in the store. A tattoo artist will apply temporary creations from 11am to 1pm, and mini manis with Ginger + Liz Non-Toxic nail colors are from 2 to 4 p.m.
