Life drawing is a study of the human form in its various shapes and postures. It is an historic practice that dynamically engages the artist with the angles and proportions of the body. We will draw from live models each week and do both gesture and longer-term drawings. We will use charcoal as well as experiment with brush and various paint and ink media. There will be a critical focus on line, structure and value. Students of all levels are welcome.
