Life drawing is a study of the human form in its various shapes and postures. It is a practice that dynamically engages the artist with angles and proportions of the body. We will draw from live models each week and do both gesture and longer-term drawings. We will use charcoal as well as experiment with brush and various paint and ink media. There will be a critical focus on line, structure and value. Students of all levels are welcome.
