Mixolydian is an American pop band formed in New York City. Following the path forged by groups like The Black Eyed Peas, Mint Condition, and The Ohio Players, they blend an authentic mix of soul, funk, disco, pop, and reggae show that exudes style and energy on the stage. The band is composed of producer and multi-instrumentalist, Redd Lewis (Destiny’s Child, Mya); award-winning drummer, Kevin Bowden (Wyclef Jean); Aussie rock guitarist, Kent Thompson; Sharla Fitzpatrick of Parliament/Funkadelic; bass guitarist, Jose Echevarria; saxophonist, Dan Perez and Charles Schiermeyer . Mixolydian also features vocalist Christina Blacken, Tradonia Baker, Katie Locke and Alicia Caldwell.
