Piano Man Larry Hunt at Trumpet's Jazz Club

Many world famous Jazz artists have performed at Trumpet's over the years.  On March 29 it's The Larry Hunt Quartet.  "Piano Man" Larry Hunt grew up in Nutley NJ.  He has entertained in more than 1000 venues throughout the USA, Europe, on 20 cruise ships, and has recorded 2 CD's of original music.  His influences include music of New Orleans and Brazil, as well as artists such as Mose Allison and Chet Baker. Do a web search for Piano Man Larry Hunt to find out more about this singular pianist/singer/composer.  Joining him at Trumpet's is West Orange's own Jim Jacobus on drums. Jim studied for many years with the great Joe Morello, long-time drummer of the legendary Dave Brubeck Quartet. 2 other local greats, Tom Rosenthal on woodwinds, and Will Macirowski on acoustic bass round out The Larry Hunt Quartet.  Reservations highly recommended.  2 shows: 7:30 PM and 9:15 PM
