Fall SOMS Parent Academy

On Tuesday, October 18^th, from 7:00-9:00 we will be hosting our first Parent Academy at South Orange Middle School.  This is an opportunity for you to come into our classrooms and participate in workshops relevant to you as parents of young adolescents.  Among the workshops that will be offered are:

·       Survival tips for successfully parenting a healthy and happy young adolescent.

·       Using technology to effectively support and enrich your child in math (at no cost).

·       Fostering success and a love for the arts and music in your child.

·       An introduction to New Jersey’s anti-bullying statute. 

·       Promoting cyber-safety in your home in the 21^st century.
