REGISTRATION BEGINS Nov 1 for Sunday Soccer for grades 3-8. The soccer program for SO and Mplwd children offers both skill development and league play on Sundays beginning Dec. 4th. The aim of the program is the instruct children in the proper technique, rules and strategies of soccer. The lessons are then reinforced by incorporating them into a game situation. Each week's session will be an hour long -- 20 minutes of skills training followed by a scheduled game. Following the registration deadline (11/19), coed teams are formed and final schedules will be mailed to each player, listing bith their team and reporting time for each week of the program. THIS TIME WILL VARY WEEK TO WEEK. However the LIKELY time frames are;Grades 3-4 12:00pm - 4:00pmGrades 5-8 2:00pm - 6:00pm (if numbers warrant, the 5-6th graders will be separated from the 7-8th grade players). No lceats, please. We recommend flat-bottom sneakers and shin guards.
