On occasion of Israel's 62nd anniversary of independence, Chancellor Arnold Eisen will be at the Congregation Beth El to speak on the topic—Rethinking Israel: A New Religious Zionism for the New Century. Both Israel and American Jewry have changed dramatically in the 62 years. The two communities have grown, but in many ways, they have also grown apart. Eisen will offer his thoughts on the meaning of Israel in the lives of American Jews.
