The South Orange Police Department participates in Project Childsafe.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - The South Orange Police is partnered with Project Childsafe, a national program that promotes firearms safety and education.

The South Orange Police Department provides free gun locks and resources to help foster responsible gun ownership. Project ChildSafe is a program of the National Shooting Sports Foundation to promote firearms safety and education.

According to their website, they are committed to promoting genuine firearms safety through the distribution of safety education messages and free firearm safety kits to communities across the U.S.
