He Got The Pizza, Too: Delivery Driver Robbed In South Orange
A pizza delivery driver reported that a man robbed him at gunpoint in South Orange, authorities say.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — A pizza delivery driver reported that a man robbed him at gunpoint in South Orange earlier this month, making off not just with the cash, but the pizza as well, authorities say.
According to the South Orange Police Department, the employee told officers that the robbery took place around 12:47 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 19. The driver said that while delivering an order to an address on Finlay Place, a man with a black handgun accosted him and demanded that he hand over his cash, as well as the pizza that he carried.
The man then fled southbound through yards on Holland Road, police said.

The driver didn’t suffer injury during the encounter, police stated.
The driver described his assailant as a black male about 5 feet 6 inches with a thin build, wearing a black t-shirt, black pants, a black baseball cap and black shoes.
