Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration Coming To South Orange
Fiesta en La Placita will bring music, dancing, food and a free salsa lesson to Spiotta Park.
SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — Downtown South Orange will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free evening of music, dancing and food later this month.
Fiesta en La Placita is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, September 25, at Spiotta Park, according to the South Orange Downtown event listing.
The celebration will feature DJ Easy Z all evening, along with a salsa lesson led by Christina Piedra at 8 p.m. Attendees can also purchase tacos from Jus’ Tacos.

Organizers describe the event as a “free, family-friendly evening” in the heart of downtown. The program is part of Downtown on Display, a series highlighting events and experiences at local businesses.
