The cast of "How to Eat Like A Child" revisited the joys and tricky ploys of childhood on Friday as the grand finale to an intensive two-week musical theater camp presented by the Community Summer Program.
The Little Theatre Stage shone at South Orange Middle School with talent young dramatists who delivered advice on everything from the artful etiquette of food consumption to "How to Laugh Hysterically," "How to Have a Birthday Party," and "How to Torture Your Sister." The revue is taken from the book by Delia Ephron.
Musical theater is among the 100 classes being offered this summer by the Adult School. This two-week workshop is directed by Maria Politano and Kevin Hagen, with musical direction by Karina Bruk. This summer, the choreography is being directed by acclaimed choreographer Tanya Gibson-Clarke of South Orange. The students learned all aspects of theater production, assisted by yellowshirt counselor and performer Alex Thompson.
