A Message from the JLMN President Heather E LeClair

"The Sleep Out is not about pretending to be homeless. Rather, in continuing with MY personal mission to bring advocacy and awareness to Essex County’s foster youth, some of whom "age out" of care and find themselves homeless. I wish to act in solidarity with the 4.2 million young people across the country who experience homelessness each year! It’s a decision that --I can’t stay indoors-- while so many youth remain outside. "
